A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO 11 PM EST THIS EVENING.  Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the evening commute. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are expected.

A fast moving clipper system will pivot through the Southern Great Lakes today moving from Southeast Minnesota this morning to portions of Northern Ohio this evening. A swath of accumulating snow is expected.  A period of quieter weather is expected from late tonight through Thursday. Another period of snow is expected from late Thursday night into Friday with an enhancement off the lake.

Snow after 7am. High near 22. Wind chill values as low as -2. South wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of around 4 inches.

Tonight

Snow before 1am. Low around 8. Wind chill values as low as -3. East southeast wind 8 to 16 mph becoming north northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 18. Wind chill values as low as -4. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.

A 20 percent chance of snow showers after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.

A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 25. West wind 9 to 16 mph.
