We’ll have several opportunities for showers and thunderstorms during the next few days. Thunderstorms are expected late tonight and again Thursday night ahead of a cold front. Thursday will be the warmest day with highs in the mid 80s, and then a slow cooling trend will result in highs in the lower 70s by Sunday.

Today:  Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. Light winds.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy in the evening, then numerous showers and thunderstorms overnight. Lows in the lower 60s. Light winds becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph overnight. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Thursday:  Partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 80s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
