A cold front will move through Lower Michigan today with only scattered showers and thunderstorms then drier conditions can be expected into the weekend as high pressure builds in.

Today:  Partly sunny with a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 80s. Light winds becoming northeast 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy. A 20 percent chance of showers in the evening. Lows around 60. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Friday:  Partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers until midday, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. Northeast winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 30 mph.

Friday Night:  Clear. Lows in the mid 50s. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph in the evening.

Saturday:  Sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. Northeast winds around 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph.
