A large area of high pressure located in the Upper Plains will  track slowly eastward into the Great Lakes Region through the weekend. This fair weather system will act to keep it dry. A weak cold front will try to slip down from the north Sunday night…but this feature is expected to diminish as it moves in.

Today:  Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. North northeast wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Tonight:  Patchy frost after 3am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 34. North northeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light northeast after midnight.

Sunday:  Patchy frost before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 66. Calm wind becoming north northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Friday’s high temperature in Jackson was 53 at 12:10 AM, the low was 43 at 10:08 PM. 

Normal high for today is 61.  The record high is 88, set in 1980.
