Jackson College’s automotive service technology recently gained high marks from the website Aceable.com, being named one of the top 16 automotive technology college programs in the country.

The College’s automotive program prides itself on preparing students for today’s career opportunities in an industry that is constantly changing. Cars, parts, and tools allow students to enhance their practical skills. Classes are divided between lectures and hands-on, task-based practice. The College offers an associate degree and certificate programs, as well as skill sets and concentrations in automotive technology. The program is accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).

“At Jackson College, our instructors are all graduates of the program; they are caring instructors who want to give back,” said Chris Kaser, instructor, automotive technology. “Our instructors are professional auto technicians teaching the classes. They work hands-on every day with what they are teaching the students.”

Aceable is a drivers education organization that provides certification programs for parents and teachers to teach students how to drive.
