The Jackson County Department on Aging and the Jackson County Fair present the Classic Car Festival.  The Jackson County Department on Aging & Jackson County Fair Present the Classic Car Festival.  Music by The Ramblers, Ice Cream Station, Pulled Pork Dinner 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM ($6 per person, seniors 60 and up suggested donation $3-$5).  50/50 Drawing And More!  All Cars Welcome: Registration is $5.00 and registered cars are eligible for Peoples Choice and Cruisers Choice trophies. All cars registered will receive a dash plaque.   Schedule:  4 PM Car Registration,  4:30 PM – 6:30 PM Food, 7 PM 50/50 Drawing (must be present to win), 7 PM Car Awards.  This event is free entry and free parking!

The Jackson Downtown Development Authority presents the Grand River Farmers Market, today from 8am to 2pm.  The market, featuring seasonal farmers and other vendors is at Grand River Marketplace, corner of Glick Highway and Mechanic Street in Downtown Jackson.

5 Healthy Towns Eating Class:  Salsa Sensations.  On Tuesday, September 19 at 6 PM, Chef Brad West offers new ways to make and use salsa. Space is limited. Registration is required.
