Kiwanis Summer Kids Series continues with Disney’s “Moana” at the Michigan Theatre.  Film times are 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.  Doors open half hour before show times ( 30 Mins ).  Admission is $1.00!  Sponsored by Kiwanis Clubs of Jackson and Brooklyn.

Tuesdays with Tracy Farmhouse Tour at the Ella Sharp Museum today at 11am and 2pm.  You know Ella Sharp, but what about her siblings?  Learn more about the life of Dwight (Tracy) Merriman this summer in a series of special guided Hillside Farmhouse Tours.  The tours supplement the exhibition, “Didn’t I Have a Good Time,” created by Spring Arbor University student, Heather Lehman, on view on the second floor of the Hillside Farmhouse now–August.  Two tours, 11am and 2pm.  Adults $3,  Children 5-12  $2,  Under 5 years – free.

AARP Movies for Grown Ups is showing the Academy Award winning film “Moonlight” at the Michigan Theater on tonight at 7:00 PM.  The movie showing is FREE, although it is not suited for children as it has an adult theme.  Please join us for a an evening out!  You can register for tickets by calling 1-844-418-2281 or by going online.  If you are unable to register online, AARP volunteers will register you at the event.

Walk Jackson continues tonight at the Cascades.  The walk is 3 miles long and begins at 7PM.  Registration is 6:30 to 7 PM.  Door Prizes will be awarded at the completion of each walk. You must be present to win! GRAND PRIZE is a FREE trip for two to Kewadin Casino in Sault Ste. Marie, MI January 10-11, 2018! You must be at least 19 years old to be eligible for the grand prize.  Meet in the Big Parking Lot by the Falls.

Upcoming early Wednesday morning event alert:  Summer Solstice Yoga Rave.  Yoga at 6am, Live Music and Dance Party at 7am.  Coffee and healthy snacks will be provided.  The cost is a $20 donation to benefit the Jackson YMCA.  Bring a friend and connect with the Yoga community.  Bring a yoga mat (if you have one).  Studio Deeply Art, 634 North Mechanic Street, Jackson (ART 634).
