13th Annual YMCA Turkey Trot. The TURKEY TROT is an exciting race for all levels and age groups. You are encouraged to join. Choose from a 5K Run, 5K Walk or a 10K Run. We also offer a Kids Run. The TURKEY TROT race will be professionally chip timed with the results right after the race. Jackson Community Table is hosting Thanksgiving Harvest Breakfast, 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.  All are welcome to join our table.  St. Johns United Church of Christ, 801 South Mechanic Street, Jackson.

Kingdom Life Ministries invites you to a Thanksgiving Dinner, today.  “Project Feed Jackson”  is sponsored by Kingdom Life Ministries of Jackson. This event is open to the public, and  it’s being held on Thanksgiving Day at the Martin Luther King Center in Jackson.  A homemade Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings will be served from 11AM-2PM as we “Feed Jackson” with a “Meal to remember..!” There is will a great “homemade” meal, clothing give-away, amazing company and “FUN” for all! By the way…this grand event is all at “NO COST!”  Martin Luther King Center, 1107 Adrian Street, Jackson.

Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd, at Brookside UMC, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM—Please bring a dessert to pass. We will have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixins’. After dinner, we will have card and board games to play. Please join us for great food and fellowship! Thanksgiving Dinner.  Compassionate Ministries of Jackson County is hosting a free, community-wide Thanksgiving Day dinner on Thursday, November 23 from 12 noon until 3 pm. The dinner will be held at JaxNaz Church, 3905 Clinton Rd. in Jackson.
