The Michigan Theatre presents June Film Course movie “The Big Lebowski” tonight.  The course and film discussion, led by Jackson College professor Dave DeBaker, begins at 6pm.  The cost for the class and film is $7, film only is $5.  The movie begins  at 7pm.

NETMA is hosting an unscripted roundtable discussion on the best ways to stay organized while planning an event. Come prepared with your tips and tricks to share.

Ever found out about an event the same weekend as your organization’s big event and thought, “Nobody ever tells me anything.” Well you’re not alone and Experience Jackson is inviting you to join the conversation by participating in NETMA. 

NETMA (Nobody Ever Tells Me Anything) is a group dedicated to communication and collaboration between festivals, events and the travel industry at large.  NETMA meets at 4:00 p.m. today in the auditorium of Jackson District Library’s Carnegie Branch.

The Jackson District Library invites you to learn the Basics of Knitting on Mondays from 1-2:30 p.m. Please call the Spring Arbor Branch at (517) 750-2030 for more information. Intended for adults.

Jackson Recreation Department offers Youth Tennis Lessons with Subba Reddy starting today at the Middle School at Parkside.  Session 1 runs from June 26 to July 19th.  The fee is $15 for residents of the JPS district, $25 for those who live outside the district.  Beginners at 9am, Intermediate at 10am, Advance at 11am, Beginners at 1pm and Intermediate at 2pm.  Register at first class of each session.  Classes are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  More details at 517-787-4040.
