Bikes lined up at last year’s CFH Giveaway (JTV file photo)

Summer is a great time for parents to schedule sports physicals and annual healthy-child exams for kids, and the Center for Family Health is providing extra incentive this year.

Patients aged 10 to 18 who have physicals at any CFH location in Jackson County during May, June, and July will be entered into a drawing to win a bicycle. Two bikes will be awarded each month.

Physicals can be scheduled at any CFH site in and near Jackson, including school health centers that are open year-round, five days a week, at Northeast Elementary, the Middle School at Parkside, Jackson High, and R.W. Kidder Middle School.

Sports physicals and well-child exams, like all Center for Family Health services, are provided to patients with or without health insurance.

Patients are never turned away due to inability to pay. Bicycles to be awarded as prizes are provided at no cost to CFH through the sponsorship of Molina Healthcare and UnitedHealthcare
