A strong low pressure system will track northeastward through the Great Lakes region Monday into Tuesday. A powerful cold front will swing eastward through Lower Michigan Monday night into Tuesday morning. Ahead of this front the airmass will be unseasonably mild but behind it the temperatures will turn sharply colder. A band of showers and thunderstorms along with gusty winds will accompany the passage of this front.

Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 30s. South winds around 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph overnight.

Monday

Cloudy. A slight chance of rain showers until midday, then a chance of rain showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50s. South winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 35 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
