| What is included in the cost? |
The project is a fixed bid based on what JTV can reasonably do in-house with available equipment. Once an agreement has been accepted, we work on the project until completion. This is based upon an agreed upon theme or script. If the client requests a major departure from the agreed upon theme or script - we may have to renegotiate the project cost (basically if we have to “start from scratch” while were in the middle of the project essentially creating a whole new project, we’ll charge a new fee). |

| What are the restrictions of use? |
Technically this would be classified as “a work for hire” agreement between JTV and the sponsoring organization. The organization is ultimately the owner of the completed project. We of course can do duplication at JTV and would welcome the opportunity to bid on any DVD duplication jobs. Along with ownership comes the responsibility for the organization to secure and maintain the signed performer release files. We have a comprehensive “Performer Release” document on hand that the organization can use. |

| You mentioned “well-seasoned” on fundraising videos - can you provide bios or success? |
We’ve had a long history of producing successful videos for the United Way of Jackson County. We were also the producers of the successful JPS millage renewal request video. We’re currently creating the capital campaign pieces for the Center for Family Health. We’ve produced the Enterprise Group’s outreach videos. We created the “Revive the Pride” video for Cascades Pride. We created all of the emotionally driven “Everyday Heroes” pieces for the American Red Cross. We’ve created a very successful new product release video for Free Stand-N-Walk... plus many more. All of our producers are well versed in creating highly emotionally driven content to fit in with any fundraising model. Plus, we’ve produced literally thousands of successful advertising campaigns and commercials for numerous clients in and around Jackson County. We’re probably the most experienced video production company in really knowing how to sell an idea in South Central Michigan. |

| How much control does an organization have in developing the theme/script? |
The sponsoring organization is involved heavily in determining the theme/script in a series of creative meetings with our staff. Once we agree to a theme or script, JTV will produce the original edit based on that theme or script. We then work with the client in a revision process to make sure that they are satisfied with the project after which we have the client sign off on a master. Once the project is “mastered”, it is considered complete. |

| Will JTV Studios run the video on JTV? |
Yes, but it depends on the content of the video. As long as the content doesn’t offend our viewers or conflict with JTV’s mission to be a positive media outlet. |

|
| What if the organization already has video... can it be included in the new piece? |
Yes as long as the organization owns the copyright or has legal permission to use the video in the new production. This also goes for music. We have an extensive music library to choose from to underscore the video and fit the required mood and emotional goal for the video. The client can use their own music as long as they prove ownership or have permission to use the music. Our producers are well-versed in “fair-use” and copyright laws for video production. |
