Ryan Cottingham Spring Arbor Basketball

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio – Head coach Ryan Cottingham earned his 300th career win Tuesday night in a dominant 87-67 win on the road against Mount Vernon Nazarene University. The Cougars blitzed MVNU to start the game, jumping out to a 10-0 lead, and never looked back to claim their second straight Crossroads League victory.

In his 18th season as a head coach, all at Spring Arbor, Cottingham secured his 300th career victory. His career record is 300-280, and currently ranks 20th on the NAIA’s list of winningest active coaches.

 

Spring Arbor returns home to host Grace Bible College in a non-league contest on Saturday, Dec. 10 starting at 3 p.m. The Cougars are partnering with the Parma-Spring Arbor Lions Club to host a food drive for families this holiday season. Fans will receive free admission to the game with a canned food item.
