Jackson, Michigan — The Kiwanis Club of Jackson is now accepting applications for college scholarships. Applicants must live in Jackson County, graduate from a Jackson County high school in the spring (or be home-schooled students who live in Jackson County), and plan to attend full-time a college or university within Jackson County (Baker College-Jackson, Jackson College or Spring Arbor University). They must also show success in high school and exemplify the Kiwanis standards through extra-curricular activities and volunteer opportunities, as well as work experience if applicable.

The application deadline is Friday, March 25, 2016 at 5 p.m. The Kiwanis Club of Jackson will announce the four recipients in the spring. Each will receive a one-time grant of $1,000. This scholarship is not based on financial needs.
