Northwest High School senior Hadleigh Buchler was named the 2014 United Way of Jackson County Youth Volunteer of the Year at a recent ceremony. According to Beth Shafer, Resource Development Director, Hadleigh’s involvement with mentoring and her work with the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Intitiative were among the reasons she was honored.
