The Jackson County Fair has announced the latest act to be booked for the 2017 grandstand lineup. Flo Rida with special guest Macy Kate, will perform at the Fair on Tuesday August 8th at 7:00 pm.
Rapper, singer, songwriter Flo Rida first came to fame in 2008 with his album Mail on Sunday, which featured his breakout single “Low” which went on to break digital download records at the time of its release. The song was number one for 10 weeks on US charts. Since then, Flo Rida has added a long list of hit songs to his playlist including “Wild Ones,” “Whistle,” “Good Feeling,” “Right Round” and “My House.” Additionally, Flo Rida has sold over 80 million digital downloads and has gone on to become one of the best-selling artists of all time.
More recently, Flo Rida has released the single “Game Time” featuring Sage the Gemini. He also has plans to release a new studio album entitled The Perfect 10 in the next year. Flo Rida has collaborated with numerous artists including T-Pain and Sia.
Joining Flo Rida as the opening act is Macy Kate, a 19-year old solo recording act known for her creative covers of top hits on social media channels.
