The Dahlem Board of Directors has named Ben Dandrow as their Interim Executive Director.  Ben comes to Dahlem with a wide variety of experience in for profit and nonprofit organizations. Ben has an extensive background in manufacturing operations, human resources, finances, and administration as well as varied experiences with nonprofits and fundraising. Ben is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College,  Rensselaer, IN. Ben lives in Grass Lake with his wife Sandra. They have one daughter Megan, a mental health professional who works with adults who have suffered brain injuries and strokes. Ben replaces the previous director Rod Malloy who returned to California.
Ben will be working with the Dahlem Board of Directors through the summer and fall to evaluate programs, staff, and processes in preparation to hire a new Executive Director. He is excited by this opportunity.  In a news release, Mr. Dandrow said  “Dahlem is an incredible organization with a rich history in Jackson. The settings and grounds are beautiful and so many community members, adults and children alike, love to walk the varied trails and grounds. It is thrilling to be a part of a great preschool program along with the potential for STEM and STEAM initiatives that are natural to the Dahlem mission”.  Mr. Dandrow looks forward to utilizing other resources in the community to evaluate and grow these initiatives.
