7/6/10 @ 10:38 a.m., officers responded to M-50 near Springfield Road for the missing elderly subject, who was found by the K-9 search and rescue team. The subject was found in a swamp, approximately ½ mile in the woods. The subject was carried out of the swamp on a backboard by officers. The subject was flown by medical helicopter to the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.
